to accelerate analytics delivery. \nWhat you will do:\nPower BI & Dashboard Development\nLead the migrationfrom Looker Studio to Microsoft Power BI, rebuilding and significantly\nenhancing existing reports and dashboards to meet the organisation's evolving\nanalytical needs.\n\nDesign, build, andmaintain Power BI dashboards and reports that communicate complex data clearly\nand intuitively to business stakeholders at all levels.\n\nDevelop and exploredata models in SQL to scope and design change requests for the Data Engineering\n(DE) team, and conduct high-volume exploratory analysis in non-production\nenvironments ahead of production deployment.\n\nDevelop and managePower BI data models and calculated columns; use DAX as a last resort where\nupstream data modelling cannot resolve the requirement.\n\nImplement row-levelsecurity and workspace governance in Power BI to ensure appropriate data access\ncontrols across teams.\n\nCreate and maintainself-service reporting solutions, and actively champion their adoption -\neducating and enabling business users to become confident, independent\nconsumers of data.\n\nIntegrate Power BIwith Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams) to embed data insights\nseamlessly into daily business workflows.\n\nManage analyticsdemand effectively by owning and coordinating user requests (UCs), change\nrequests, and business requirements through the agreed prioritisation and\ndelivery process.\n\nAdvanced Ad-Hoc Analytics\nConductadvanced ad hoc analysis across financial, operational, and commercial data\nsets to answer complex and time-sensitive business questions.\n\nPerformdeep-dive analysis to uncover trends, anomalies, and patterns that inform\nstrategic decisions.\n\nDevelop andapply statistical and analytical models to support forecasting, performance\nmeasurement, and scenario analysis.\n\nTranslate rawdata into structured insights with clear narrative and visual context for\nexecutive and management audiences.\n\nSupport theFP&A team with data-driven modelling for budgeting, forecasting, and\nbusiness reviews.\n\nIdentifyrecurring ad hoc requests and productionise those insights into automated\ndashboards or self-service tools - reducing manual effort, improving\nconsistency, and freeing capacity for higher-value analysis.\n\nUse Python(pandas, numpy, matplotlib/seaborn) for advanced data manipulation, statistical\nanalysis, and visualisation where SQL or Excel alone are insufficient.\n\nAI Augmented Analytics (Claud AI & Copilot)\nLeverage Claude AI to accelerate data analysis, draftanalytical narratives, generate and review SQL queries, and automate repetitive\nreporting tasks.\n\nUse Microsoft Copilot across Excel, Power BI, andTeams to improve the speed, accuracy, and quality of analytical outputs.\n\nApply prompt engineering skills to extract accurate,contextually relevant outputs from AI tools for real business use cases.\n\nStay ahead of AI developments relevant to BI andanalytics - proactively identifying, trialling, and evaluating new tools and\napproaches that could benefit the team.\n\nDocument AI-assisted workflows and share learningsacross the team to build broader capability and a culture of AI-first thinking.\n\nData Collection, Modelling & Governance\nGather, cleanse, reconcile, and transform data frommultiple sources to ensure accuracy and integrity across all reporting.\n\nDevelop and maintain data models, pipelines, anddocumentation in line with governance standards and best practices.\n\nImplement data quality checks and validation processesacross all BI solutions before they reach production.\n\nMaintain data dictionaries and ensure consistency indefinitions and terminology across the organisation.\n\nWork with IT and the Data Engineering team to ensuredata availability, integrity, and access for analysis - raising change requests\nprofessionally through the Jira process.\n\nExcel & Microsoft Suite\nBuild and maintain advanced Excel models using dynamicarrays, Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex formula logic.\n\nAutomate repetitive Excel-based reporting tasks usingmacros, VBA, or Power Automate integrations where appropriate.\n\nSupport the business with Excel-based financialmodels, variance analysis tools, and structured data templates.\n\nBusiness Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement\nWork closely with business units to understand theirgoals and challenges, providing data-driven recommendations that support\nstrategic decision-making.\n\nPresent findings and insights to management andstakeholders in a clear, concise, and impactful way -
