Based in Mauritius as part\nof the Treasury and Finance team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day\nverification, processing, and execution of multi-currency payments, maintaining\nthe integrity maintenance of audit-ready records, and timely\nidentification of any discrepancies.\nWhat You'll Do\nPayment processing and execution: Carryout day-to-day verification and processing of invoices and payment requests,\nload payments accurately across multiple currencies, and perform checks to\nconfirm the completeness of every payment.\n\nSupplier payments and deadlines: Ensuresuppliers are paid on time and in line with due dates, and consistently meet\nall finance deadlines and reporting requirements.\n\nBanking ownership and controls: Takeownership of the company's bank accounts, monitor and report anomalies in\nbanking transactions, and provide timely updates of bank statements to the\nservices team.\n\nRecords, filing and auditreadiness: Maintain accurate records of daily payments\nand ensure all supporting documentation is filed and audit-ready at all times.\n\nProcess and systems: Adhereto the payment process flow and Treasury SOPs, continuously review current and\nnew systems, and resolve exceptions caused by system errors.\n\nConfidentiality: Maintainthe confidentiality of sensitive information processed through the payment\nsystem, including salaries, bonuses, and advances\n\nCollaboration and support: Supportthe Head of Finance and Treasury Manager on strategic initiatives, provide\ntimely assistance to the finance, services, and other teams, report to duties\npromptly, and take on ad-hoc duties as assigned.\n\nRequirements\nEssential\nDiploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, ora related field\n\n2-3 years' proven experience in a similarpayments, treasury, or finance role\n\nHands-on experience with payment systems suchas Kyriba, Treasury Express, or bank internet-banking (IB) portals\n\nWorking knowledge of treasury management andmulti-currency payment processing\n\nProficiency in data entry and data management\nIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills\nStrong numerical and analytical skills, withhigh attention to detail and accuracy\n\nDiagnostic and problem-solving ability,including resolving payment and system exceptions\n\nAbility to deal with complex information andrequests, and to work effectively under sustained pressure\n\nStrong organisation, administration, andtime-management skills, with good written and verbal communication in English\nand the ability to maintain strict confidentiality\n\nA confident, enthusiastic self-starter whotakes initiative and ownership\n\nA dependable team player who balancesindividual and team responsibility, and both gives and accept feedback\n\nAction-oriented
