The role requires strong technical depth, the ability to drive automation strategy, enhanced quality processes, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring robust CI/CD-driven automation.\n\nResponsibilities\nOwn and enhance automation frameworks for Web (Selenium/Playwright), Mobile (Appium), and API (RestAssured/Karate).\nDevelop scalable, maintainable automation suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.\nPartner with developers, product, and QA teams to improve testability and product quality.\nPerform detailed root-cause analysis for failures and guide junior SDETs.\nMaintain high automation coverage and ensure execution reliability.\nDrive quality practices, including shift-left testing, code reviews, and test strategy improvements.\nCreate performance benchmarks and collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize automation execution.\nBuild and maintain mock servers and stubs (e. g., WireMock, MockWebServer) to support independent and reliable automation. \nDrive adoption of GenAI in testing by integrating GenAI-powered capabilities into automation frameworks, improving test efficiency, optimizing execution workflows, and mentoring the team on effective GenAI usage.\n\nRequirements: \n3-7 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end test automation.\nStrong experience in web automation using Selenium/Playwright/TestNG/JUnit, mobile automation using Appium (Android + iOS), and API automation using RestAssured/Karate/Postman.\nStrong in Java (or Python), OOPS concepts, and designing reusable automation components.\nStrong understanding of CI/CD systems: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.\nExperience creating and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.\nSolid debugging skills and ability to handle complex automation workflows.\n\nGood to Have: \nBanking/Fintech domain experience.\nExperience with performance testing tools.\nAbility to mentor junior automation engineers.\nSkills\nAppium, Java,
