The role supports both quotation and project teams, providing technical expertise in PID design and 3D piping. The PID and 3D Piping Designer works closely with project/process engineers, construction, sales, and controls to ensure PIDs and 3D piping are designed to meet specifications, industry standards, and customer needs\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nQuotation Support\nProvide quote PIDs, 3D piping layouts, and technical input for potential projects\nReview customer P&IDs, contracts, and process descriptions to determineprocessneeds\nAdvise sales teams on missing information, risks, and constraints\nProject Process Design\nDesign process and instrumentation drawings, 3D piping layouts, and select equipment and instrumentation with direction from engineering using AutoCAD Plant 3D\nAdvise project/process engineers on missing information, risks, constraints\nDocument and maintain PID and 3D piping drawings per company policy\nPIEL Integration\nPrepare bills of materials and piping and instrumentation equipment lists (PIELs) according to company procedures\nCollaboration & Communication\nWork closely with process engineers, project engineers, and peers to align designs\nShare technical expertise, advice, and improvements to support project execution\nCommunicate effectively with engineers, controls, and sales to resolve issues\nQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:\nEducation: Two-year Associates/Technical degree or relevant work experience\nExperience: Experience in process flow and process and instrumentation diagrams is preferred\nTechnical Knowledge: Understanding of process systems and equipment, Autodesk Plant 3D software, and process instrumentation and equipment\nSkills:\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability\nAttention to detail and accuracy in documentation\nEffective communication and teamwork\nAbility to manage tasks within project schedules and budgets\nTRAVEL:\nMust be willing to travel 10-15% of the time.\nKOVALUES:\nCUSTOMER FOCUS: Our decisions and actions are aligned with client needs, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.\nINTEGRITY & COMPLIANCE:Establishes trust and credibility, ensuring that actions and communications are transparent and ethical.Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.\nTEAMWORK:Foster collaboration and efficiency, leading to innovative solutions and a supportive work environment.\nHUMILITY & RESPECT:Build a positive culture by valuing diverse perspectives and fostering a respectful workplace.\nENTREPRENEURIAL: Eliminate bureaucracy and non-value-added processes.
