We’re proud of our close-knit culture, where we speak up, celebrate differences and push boundaries together.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for an electrically trained Site Services Technician to join our Engineering team at Ashby.\nThis is a great opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys a varied role and is looking to broaden their experience across site services, utilities and infrastructure. Previous site services experience isn't essential. If you have a strong electrical maintenance background and can demonstrate relevant transferable skills, we'd love to hear from you.\nReporting to the Site Services Manager, you'll help keep our site operating safely, reliably and efficiently. You'll use your electrical fault-finding and maintenance expertise while developing your knowledge across a wider range of site services equipment and systems.\nWorking closely with colleagues across the site, you'll play an important role in supporting compliance, maintaining essential services and driving continuous improvement.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWe believe in rewarding our colleagues and helping them thrive. Here’s a flavour of what we offer:\nAnnual salary of up to £39,000 depending on experience, plus KP Pension Plan with up to 7% matched contributions\n\n25 days holiday, with the option to buy up to five additional days for more flexibility\n\nComprehensive healthcare support including Health Cash Plan, Digital GP and Employee Assistance Programme\n\nKP4ME benefits platform with discounts, cashback, wellbeing tools and everyday savings\n\nEnhanced family-friendly policies to support colleagues at every stage of life\n\nWhat will you be doing?\nCarry out electrical maintenance and fault finding across a range of site services equipment, completing repairs, installations and planned maintenance activities\n\nMaintain essential site services and utilities including boilers, compressed air systems, water services, effluent systems and electrical infrastructure\n\nSupport compliance and statutory requirements by completing inspections, maintaining accurate records and supporting fire systems, sprinklers and legionella controls\n\nWork collaboratively across the site with colleagues, contractors and specialist service providers to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable\n\nDrive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve safety, efficiency, reliability and overall site performance\n\nRequirements\nWe’d love to hear from you if you can bring:\nA recognised electrical qualification such as an Electrical Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline or equivalent, with 18th Edition BS7671 being highly desirable\n\nStrong electrical maintenance experience with practical fault-finding skills gained within manufacturing, industrial maintenance or a similar engineering environment\n\nA proactive approach to problem solving with the ability to work independently, manage priorities and respond effectively to operational challenges\n\nStrong communication and teamwork skills with the confidence to work with colleagues, contractors and external service providers\n\nA willingness to learn and develop across site services, utilities and building infrastructure, supported by a practical engineering mindset\n\nOur purpose\nAt KP Snacks, we're passionate about creating happy snacking moments through our great tasting snacks and iconic brands.
