Own treasury operations and FP&A with a clear mandate to maximize interest income on company balances while ensuring strong liquidity, risk management, and financial visibility to support rapid growth.\nKey Responsibilities\nTreasury\nManage daily multi-currency cash positioning, liquidity, and working capital across collections, payouts, card settlements, and FX flows.\nMaximize interest earnings and yield on idle balances through proactive investment of surplus funds and negotiation of competitive rates with financial institutions.\nExecute and monitor FX hedging and exposure (working with Trade Desk); manage counterparty relationships and settlement risk.\nHandle day-to-day banking operations, account management, payment instructions, and reconciliation (with support from Finance Ops and IT).\nBuild and improve treasury processes, controls, forecasting models, and tools.\nStrengthen banking relationships focused on better pricing, higher yields, and efficiency.\nEnsure compliance with treasury, payment, and FX regulations; support audits and controls.\nFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)\nOwn budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning - build and maintain the models yourself.\nDevelop financial models covering revenue (volumes, FX spreads, card interchange, fees), costs, unit economics, cash flow, and interest income.\nDeliver timely management reporting, variance analysis, and insights to leadership.\nPartner with product, operations, and commercial teams on new markets, pricing, launches, and partnerships.\nTrack and improve key metrics (take rates, volume growth, liquidity, P&L, settlement risk, interest yield).\nSupport fundraising, investor reporting, and board materials.\nCross-functional Ownership\nCollaborate with operations, compliance, product, and IT on payment flows, settlement cycles, and risk controls.\nDesign and refine finance processes and systems as the company scales.\nOperate with high ownership and urgency in a fast-paced startup environment.\nRequirements\n6+ years in treasury and/or FP&A, ideally in fintech, payments, banking, or high-growth startups.\nProven hands-on experience managing multi-currency cash, executing transactions, and optimizing interest income/yield.\nStrong practical experience in FX risk management, cross-border payments, and banking operations.\nAbility to build financial models, forecasts, and reports from scratch.\nSolid understanding of payment ecosystems (collections, payouts, card schemes, settlement) and FX markets.\nDirect experience with banks, payment processors, and FX providers, including rate negotiations.\nAdvanced Excel/Google Sheets; experience with ERP, treasury tools, or BI preferred.\nDetail-oriented, execution-focused, comfortable with ambiguity, and willing to get hands dirty daily.\nStrong communication skills across finance and non-finance stakeholders.\nBachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, or Economics;
