Our work spans a wide range of bridge and heavy-civil projects, including highway and pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, culverts that support fish passage, ferry terminals, piers, wharves, and structural inspections. We take pride in our collaborative approach to consulting, partnering with clients across the industry, from small local agencies, to state transportation departments, to architects and contractors. Our team contributes to projects that range from feasibility studies, to new construction, to rehabilitation, to retrofits, always with a focus on technical excellence, environmental stewardship, and community impact.\nThis position will allow you to lead and participate in the engineering design and management of a wide range of transportation projects in the Inland Northwest and beyond as well as:\nLead planning, design and construction support on stimulating infrastructure projects.\nDevelop and manage project scope, schedule and budget.\nEngage with clients to define and achieve a successful outcome.\nLead and mentor junior engineers.\nPerform structural design and analyses.\nPerform inspection/field work.\nGrow our practice in the Inland Northwest.\n Minimum Qualifications:\nBSCE with emphasis in Structural Engineering\nProfessional Engineer (PE) License in Washington State or the ability to obtain via reciprocity\n7-12 years of experience\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMSCE or MSE with emphasis in Structural Engineering\nStructural Engineer (SE) License\nExperience in the design and construction of reinforced concrete and structural steel structures\nProficiency with the following, or similar, software: CSI Software Suite (SAP, CSI Bridge), PG Super\nExperience monitoring budgets and schedules, interacting with clients, and leading junior engineers.\nStrong communicator and collaborator\nSelf-motivated\nEager to develop and grow as a structural engineer\nAbility to work with, mentor, and lead junior engineers\nPassionate about providing exceptional client services\nStrong technical and organizational abilities\n Physical Demands:\nDuties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.\nOccasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.\nOccasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.\nTraveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.\nCompensation:\nThe base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected pay for a qualified candidate is $115,000 - $150,000.\nAdditionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
