Example projects include: PSRC Passenger-Only Ferry Study, WSF System Electrification Plan.\nThe KPFF Planning Team is looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to join our small, collaborative team. Working under a Senior Project Management team, you will assist multiple project managers with project controls and coordination, team workload planning, and other miscellaneous support tasks. In this role, you will be responsible for leading contract controls and project coordination for all Planning Team projects, ensuring that project work is delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.\nThis role will be based in Seattle, WA, and will be a hybrid position including some in-office and some remote work.\nJob Responsibilities:\nContract Administration and Project Controls\nManage contract scope and fee compliance for all projects and lead coordination with clients regarding contracting and invoicing\nSet up and manage spreadsheets for fee estimates, cost tracking and billing\nPrepare subconsultant agreements\nDevelop and maintain project schedules\nProject Accounting, including budget tracking and management, and project set up\nProcess subconsultant invoices and manage communication with subconsultants regarding invoicing requirements\nReview/prepare project invoices and progress reports\nPlanning Team Program Support\nPrepare billing and workload forecasts\nDraft scopes of work and fee estimates for proposals, including review of proposal requirements and preparation of documentation\nSupport team operations as needed in a collaborative environment\n Minimum Qualifications\n2-5 years of finance, accounting, administrative, or business support experience\nAssociate's or bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field preferred, but not required with relevant experience\nMicrosoft Office Suite: Advanced Word and Excel, Project, PowerPoint\nEfficient time management and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment\nEnjoys challenges, positive and self-motivated\nDependable and ability to work independently\nEffective verbal/written communication style appropriate for professional team setting\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organization\nComfortable working with financial data, reports, invoices, and budgets\nAbility to work professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization\nTake initiative and have fun!\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience in Bluebeam, BST, financial accounting software\nData management and document review experience\n Physical Demands:\nDuties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.\n Occasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.\nOccasionally visiting project locations and performing field inspections which may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.\n Traveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.\nCompensation:\nThe base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate is $25.00 to $40.00 hourly.\nAdditionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center.
