This senior role includes the leadership and management of transportation projects across Washington, overseeing client relationships, business development, and design team management. You will work closely with local municipalities, and transit agencies, helping to drive KPFF’s commitment to quality in regional infrastructure. This role is designed for a proficient civil engineering professional who excels in both engineering and project management.\nAs a Project Manager at KPFF, you will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, from project pursuits and interviews, through initial planning, execution and closeout, ensuring projects meet client expectations, budget, and schedule requirements. As the Prime Project Manager, you will manage the entire design team consisting of trusted subconsultant partners and talented KPFF design staff.\nThis position will provide the opportunity for you to partner with diverse clients on projects that are transforming and improving our communities. Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.\n\nManage Project Schedules, Budgets, and Resources: Develop and maintain project schedules, track project budgets, and allocate resources efficiently to ensure project milestones are achieved within scope and cost parameters.\n\nPromote Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay informed of industry advancements and integrate new technologies and methods to enhance project efficiency and client satisfaction.\n\n Minimum Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. \nProfessional Engineer (PE) licensed in Washington State required \nMinimum of 10 years of experience in civil/transportation engineering, with a strong background in Washington project management. \nProficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D required; MicroStation, and OpenRoads familiarity is a plus. \nKnowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to the design and construction of transportation projects in Washington \nPermitting experience with various municipalities \nAbility to manage multiple active projects concurrently \nExcellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills are essential \nCompetency, accountability, and personal commitment to deliver quality work to our clients, and to mentor younger staff\n Physical Demands:\nDuties are primarily conducted in a standard office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer table.\nOccasionally may be required to lift objects weighing up to 15 lbs.\nOccasionally visiting project and construction sites may involve walking, standing, kneeling, or navigating uneven terrain.\nTraveling to project sites or client meetings, which may involve driving or flying.\nCompensation:\nThe base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate's experience, education, and skills.
