The Technician performs customer support, ensures maximum equipment uptime, and provides excellence in customer service.\nPerform scheduled preventative maintenance on associated assets as directed by the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).\nProvide corrective / reactive maintenance on assets within the plant as required.\nPerform root-cause analysis on asset failures with goal to prevent reoccurrence.\nParticipate in the installation and commissioning of KPI projects as assigned.\nCoordinate and participate in start-up services to ensure smooth transitions from project to service teams.\nTraining of clients on support, recovery, and maintenance of field assets.\nAssist clients with parts orders, consumables, repair and return of defective parts, warranty services and requests for information pertaining to their systems.\nRequirements\nVocational school, related military experience, or job experience equivalent.\n2-5 years' experience in at least three of the following areas:\nSoftware Development, preferably logistics related.\nControls Development, preferably on conveyor or similar equipment.\nAMR, AGV, SDV installation, configuration and service.\nMechanical installation and integration, preferably on high automation projects.\nClient service and troubleshooting.\nFacilities management\nParts management\nProject Management\n Clear and effective communication style that builds client's trust and satisfaction.\nAbility to read blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams to extract necessary technical information.\nExceptional interpersonal skills (client service skills) and communication skills.\nPC Computer software and hardware literate.\nBasic computer networking skills.\nMust be a self-starter, well organized, and be able to work independently without on-site supervision.\nInvolves frequent contact with employees and the management team. \nWork involves frequent change in activities and priorities.\nMust be willing and able travel to client’s sites 30%.\nAbility to lift, lower and carry objects up to 50 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.\nWork requires correctable vision, ability to identify and distinguish colors, depth perception, eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.\nMust have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.\nAbility and willingness to work on-call hours including weekend, night, and/or holiday work.\nSHIFT/HOURS - (Wed. - Sat.)
