# HIL Engineer

Responsibilities: Work with Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) protocols and diagnostic communication. Understand automotive requirements and translate them into testable requirements. Responsible for understanding of Vehicle Requirement thoroughly and make sure that the test cases are updated, and traceability is maintained. This includes adding new test cases and updating the current test cases in each test plan. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, System) to resolve issues. Maintain accurate documentation of test procedures and results along with the failure analysis. Create test result reports and conduct verification reviews with technical leadership. Logging Issues with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence (logs, timestamps, screenshots/videos), Using tools like Jira and driving issues to closure in collaboration with development and supplier teams. Includes making project proposals to management, setting direction for the best implementation and accountability to report progress on technical activity, budget and schedule. Documentation of test results, test reports, defect reports each SW update. Strong Ability to execute Root Cause analys
