We are seeking an experienced engineer to take on a hands-on technical role focused on software integration, test automation, and build verification testing for automotive connectivity platforms.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild and maintain test benches used for Build Verification Testing (BVT).\nDevelop new automated test cases and update existing test suites to align with evolving specifications.\nPerform root cause analysis on Linux and Android systems, relating issues to software code changes and build configuration changes.\nSupport software integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities across embedded automotive platforms.\nCollaborate with software developers, integration teams, and validation engineers to ensure high-quality software releases.\nDocument test procedures, findings, and integration activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline.\nExperience\nMinimum 2 years of experience in software development and testing using C/C++.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in software integration within Linux environments, including Yocto.\nMinimum 2 years of experience in software integration within Android environments.\nMinimum 4 years of experience in automated testing for embedded products.\nRequired Technical Skills\nStrong knowledge of:\nPython\nCMake\nBash scripting\nLinux and Android command-line environments\nStandard Linux tools (SSH, shell utilities, etc.)\nVector tools\nExperience with:\nLinux and Android debugging tools (GDB, ADB, etc.)\nRobot Framework\nTest Guide automation tool\nsystemd\nGoogle Test or other unit testing frameworks\nEmbedded & Automotive Knowledge\nFirmware Over-The-Air (FOTA)\nFamiliarity with rapid prototyping and board bring-up activities.\nKnowledge of hardware interfaces, including Automotive Ethernet\nProfessional Skills\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nSelf-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.\nAbility to work effectively in a diverse team environment.\nStrong documentation skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to collaborate with software development, vehicle integration, and validation teams.\nPreferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)\nDeep knowledge of Test Guide.\nDeep knowledge of Vector CANoe and CAPL scripting.\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.\nExperience with Continuous Integration (CI) systems and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.\nExperience with build and test automation frameworks.\nExperience with Ethernet networking technologies, including:\nIEEE 802.3\nIEEE 802.1AS\nTime-Sensitive Networking (TSN)\nExperience with cryptographic protocols, key management, chain-of-trust processing, and anti-spoofing techniques.\nFamiliarity with automotive development processes such as ASPICE and the V-Model.\nExperience
