As a member of the Procurement & Supply Chain Advisory leadership team, this individual will play a key role in shaping the growth, strategy, market positioning and culture of the practice.\nThe role is centred on four core leadership responsibilities:\nSales & Origination - building senior client relationships, creating and converting opportunities, leading proposals and supporting the growth of the practice.\n\nClient Delivery - leading complex procurement and source-to-pay transformation programmes that deliver sustainable business outcomes.\n\nTeam Development - recruiting, developing, coaching and inspiring high-performing consulting teams.\n\nPractice Development - developing propositions, thought leadership, alliances and market-leading capabilities, working collaboratively across the firm to connect procurement with wider KPMG propositions.\n\nWe are looking for an ambitious consulting leader with the vision, drive and proven consulting experience to help clients transform their procurement functions and realise the value of emerging technologies, including AI, automation and Agentic Procurement.\nKey Responsibilities\nSales & Origination\nOriginate, shape and win procurement transformation engagements.\n\nDevelop trusted relationships with CPOs, CFOs, COOs and other senior executives.\n\nLead proposals, RFP responses and commercial negotiations.\n\nBuild and maintain a strong external profile through networking, thought leadership and industry engagement.\n\nCollaborate with alliance and technology partners to drive joint market opportunities.\n\nWork collaboratively across KPMG’s sector, functional and technology teams to bring the best of the firm’s capabilities and propositions to clients.\n\nClient Delivery\nLead major procurement transformation programmes from strategy through implementation.\n\nAdvise clients on procurement operating models, organisation design, process optimisation and digital transformation.\n\nDeliver engagements across procurement strategy, operating model transformation, source-to-pay, intake and orchestration, supplier management, cost transformation and procurement capability development.\n\nSupport clients in adopting AI-enabled procurement capabilities, intelligent automation and Agentic Procurement solutions.\n\nEnsure high-quality delivery, strong commercial performance and exceptional client outcomes.\n\nTeam Development\nCoach and mentor Associate Directors, Managers and Consultants.\n\nSupport recruitment and capability development across the practice.\n\nFoster an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing culture.\n\nDevelop future leaders and strengthen the practice leadership pipeline.\n\nPractice Development\nDevelop and enhance market-leading procurement transformation propositions.\n\nLead the thinking on AI-enabled procurement transformation and Agentic Procurement.\n\nBuild strategic relationships with technology providers including Coupa, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Zip, Jaggaer, Oracle and SAP.\n\nContribute to thought leadership, innovation, alliance development and overall practice growth.\n\nIdentify opportunities to combine procurement transformation with adjacent propositions such as supply chain, finance transformation, technology, sustainability, risk, tax and managed services.\n\nExperience & Skills\nThe successful candidate will demonstrate:\nProven experience within a leading consulting, advisory or professional services organisation.\n\nA strong track record of originating and selling consulting engagements.\n\nSignificant experience leading large-scale procurement transformation programmes.\n\nDeep expertise in procurement operating models, source-to-pay transformation and procurement cost transformation programmes.\n\nExperience advising senior executives and building long-term client relationships.\n\nStrong people leadership and team development experience.\n\nExcellent understanding of AI, automation, generative AI and emerging Agentic Procurement capabilities.\n\nAn entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial acumen and a passion for building and growing a successful consulting
