As part of a cross-functional DevOps team, you will deliver robust, secure, scalable, and user-centric applications that enhance collaboration, knowledge sharing, and data management across KPMG.\nThis role fits best with the candidates who combine expertise in software engineering, backend, and frontend development with hands-on experience in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 customization. You will contribute to both greenfield and modernization projects, including custom solutions, integrations, and automation.\nAs a Senior SharePoint / Microsoft 365 Developer, you will focus on:\nBuild and extend Microsoft 365 applications, including Microsoft Teams apps, SharePoint Online web parts, Power Apps, and Power Automate flows.\nDevelop resilient, performant, and scalable backend services using Microsoft Azure.\nDesign, develop, and maintain custom SharePoint Server solutions, including provider-hosted add-ins and web parts.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following KPMG’s design principles, development guidelines, and standardized workflows.\nDevelop and maintain unit, integration, and performance tests.\nCollaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.\nChallenge requirements and solution architecture to ensure technical feasibility and long-term maintainability.\nUse standardized tooling, static code analysis, code vulnerability scanners, and internal package sources.\nParticipate in architectural reviews, code reviews, and DevOps processes using Git and Azure DevOps.\nContribute to internal development standards, reusable components, and knowledge sharing.\nEnsure solutions comply with organizational security policies, data protection regulations, and internal governance standards.\nCollaborate with infrastructure and networking teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems.\nCreate scripts, improvement.\nWhat you bring in:\n- Technical Skills & Experience\nSeveral years of experience in software development with .NET (Framework and Core).\nDeep understanding of SharePoint and M365 out-of-the-box capabilities, integrations, and access control.\nSolid understanding of Microsoft 365 development models and extensibility (Teams Apps, SharePoint Solutions, Entra ID App Registrations, Graph API, Power Platform).\nExperience developing modern SharePoint Online solutions using SPFx, React, and TypeScript.\nProficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks such as React or Angular.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and LINQ.\nUnderstanding of distributed application architectures, communication patterns, authentication protocols and flows.\nExperience using SOLID principles, different architectural styles and design patterns.\nHands-on experience building backend services using Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Functions, Web Apps, Logic Apps, Entra ID, Key Vault).\nStrong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.\nStrong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices and tools (Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines).\n- Soft Skills\nFluency in English (German is a strong advantage).\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.\nStrong documentation and knowledge-sharing mindset, especially around complex engineering topics.\n- Preferred Qualifications\nExperience with hybrid SharePoint environments and migration projects.\nCertifications in SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform or related technologies.\nHands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI for building low-code/no-code solutions.\nHands-on experience developing Teams apps, bots, or extensions using Microsoft Teams Toolkit.\nFamiliarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.\nKnowledge of architecture modeling notations (e.g., C4, ArchiMate, BPMN).\nFamiliarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub
