We've proudly stood beside the institutions and businesses which make the UK what it is.\nWhy Join KPMG\nAs a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the technical development of Quantexa-based solutions, bringing deep hands-on experience with data ingestion, transformation, and contextual data modelling. You will collaborate closely with Quantexa Architects, Tech Leads, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that address complex business challenges.\nYou will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust data pipelines, configuring Quantexa components, and supporting the overall success of client engagements.\nWhat will you be doing?\nDevelop and optimise data ingestion pipelines and transformations within the Quantexa platform using Spark and Scala.\nConfigure and implement Quantexa components such as Entity Resolution, Scoring, and Network Generation to support specific use cases.\nCollaborate with Tech Leads and Solution Architects to design scalable and performant Quantexa solutions.\nTranslate business and technical requirements into efficient, production-ready data engineering solutions.\nSupport the integration of Quantexa into broader enterprise data architectures, working closely with cloud, security, and DevOps teams.\nWhat will you need to do it?\nQuantexa Technical Certification is required.\nDemonstrable experience in leading client data engineering OR Integration projects for major clients\nHands-on experience of designing and implementing Quantexa solutions for clients.\nTechnical excellence in Scala, Python Databricks\nSkills we’d love to see/Amazing Extras:\nExperience delivering Quantexa in Financial Services, Fraud Detection, AML, or KYC domains.\nExposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines, including tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.\nFamiliarity with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.\nUnderstanding of data governance, data quality frameworks, and enterprise data security standards.\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related technical field.\nTo discuss this or wider Technology roles with our recruitment team, all you need to do is apply, create a profile, upload your CV and begin to make your mark with KPMG.\nOur Locations:\nWe are open to talk to talent across the country but our core Tech hubs for this role are:\nBirmingham\nLeeds\nLondon Canary Wharf\nManchester\nThis position will largely be based from London.\nWith 20 sites across the UK, we can potentially facilitate office work, working from home, flexible hours, and part-time options.
