You will contribute to architecture, development, testing, automation, and deployment while mentoring consultants and supporting delivery leads. \n\nDesign, build, test, and deploy software components, APIs, integrations, and cloud-based solutions. \nLead smaller technical workstreams or features from design through implementation. \nCollaborate with architects, managers, project managers, product owners, and client teams to clarify requirements and delivery priorities. \nContribute to solution design, estimation, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and technical documentation. \nParticipate in code reviews and help improve engineering standards, test coverage, security, and maintainability. \nUse AI-assisted delivery tools responsibly to accelerate development, testing, analysis, and documentation. \nTroubleshoot issues across application, data, infrastructure, and deployment layers. \nMentor consultants and contribute to a collaborative, learning-oriented team environment. \n\nWhat you bring to the role\n\n4+ years of experience designing and developing software solutions. \nStrong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET, plus one or more modern languages or frameworks such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar. \nExperience with APIs, databases, cloud services, integration patterns, and modern application architectures. \nFamiliarity with Microsoft Azure, including Azure application, integration, data, DevOps, or cloud-native services. \nExperience with Next.js is a nice-to-have. \nExperience with Git, CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps practices, and agile delivery. \nAbility to analyze technical problems, communicate options, and recommend practical solutions. \nInterest in Gen AI, AI-assisted engineering, prompt patterns, and AI-accelerated SDLC practices. \nStrong written and verbal communication skills. \nAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team. \nUniversity degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. \n\nProviding you with the support you need to be at your best\n\nOur Values, The KPMG Way\n\nIntegrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what matters\n\nKPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential.
