In collaboration with our passionate and driven team, we strive to establish ourselves as a renowned creator of masterpieces in the global gaming market.\nTHE OPPORTUNITY\nWe develop, apply, and operate game security solutions and security operations systems to create a trusted gameplay environment for KRAFTON games.\nCentered around KRAFTON Security Services (KSS), we provide core capabilities and services required for game security, including Anti-Cheat, Anti-Tamper, security operations, data analysis, and ML-based detection.\nKSS is a Game Trust Platform that integrates KRAFTON’s game security technologies and operational capabilities. It is evolving into a standardized security platform that multiple game studios can adopt quickly and reliably.\nDUTIES \nDevelop KSS Anti-Cheat and client security features to detect and respond to cheats, tampering, bypasses, automation, and unauthorized tools that may occur in game runtime environments.\nBased on an understanding of user-mode and kernel-mode behavior in Windows environments, you will analyze security threats that occur between game clients and the operating system, and design and implement security features with stability and performance in mind.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nDevelop C++-based game security / Anti-Cheat client modules\nDetect and respond to cheat behaviors such as game client tampering, memory manipulation, code injection, hooking, debugging, and automation tools\nDesign and implement user-mode and kernel-mode security features\nConduct security analysis based on Windows internals and OS behavior, including processes, threads, memory, drivers, and system calls\nReview and improve the stability, performance, and false-positive risk of security detection logic\nAnalyze new cheat and attack techniques and research defensive technologies\nProvide technical support and improvements to ensure KSS security features are reliably applied across various game environments\nQUALIFICATIONS\n5+ years of C++ software development skills\n5+ years of experience with low-level Windows development expertise focused on working on security and/or anti-cheat (at game companies preferred)\nUnderstanding of Windows internals, including processes, threads, virtual memory, synchronization, DLLs, and PE structures\nAbility to understand x64 assembly code and analyze the behavior of disassembled code\nUnderstanding of core operating system concepts such as kernels, drivers, system calls, interrupts, and memory management\nBasic knowledge of computer architecture, CPU operation, memory structure, and executable file loading processes\nAbility to analyze problems from a security perspective and design solutions while considering potential bypass methods\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nExperience developing Anti-Cheat, DRM, EDR, security solutions, or client protection technologies\nExperience developing Windows kernel drivers\nUnderstanding of x86/x64 assembly, calling conventions, exception handling, and debugging techniques\nExperience using analysis/debugging tools such as IDA, Ghidra, WinDbg, and x64dbg\nUnderstanding of techniques such as code injection, API hooking, manual mapping, DKOM, rootkits, anti-debugging, and anti-tamper\nUnderstanding of Windows platform security technologies such as TPM, Secure Boot, VBS, and HVCI\nExperience operating security features reliably in large-scale live game environments\nExperience in low-level system programming with consideration for performance, stability, and compatibility\nReasonable Accommodation\nKRAFTON Americas is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
