Responsibilities\nCoordinate the preparation, review, approval, formal release, and archival of engineering documentation, including drawings, BOMs, firmware releases, specifications, test procedures, and related technical records.\n\nHelp establish, standardize, and improve engineering release, document control, and configuration management practices as the organization grows.\n\nAssemble and administer engineering release packages, verifying completeness of documentation, revision consistency, and required approvals before formal release.\n\nAdminister engineering change request (ECR) and engineering change order (ECO) workflows, including change documentation, review coordination, approval routing, and formal closure.\n\nWork with responsible engineers to ensure affected technical documentation is appropriately updated and released following approved engineering changes.\n\nMaintain accurate, traceable product configurations, including relationships between part numbers, revisions, BOMs, firmware versions, and supporting documentation.\n\nTrack provisional or limited production releases, coordinating outstanding documentation requirements and closure activities with responsible stakeholders.\n\nMaintain controlled engineering records and administer release and change management activities within Arena PLM.\n\nCoordinate the communication and handoff of released engineering information to Operations, Production, Supply Chain, and other downstream stakeholders.\n\nIdentify documentation gaps, configuration discrepancies, incomplete change records, and process breakdowns, coordinating resolution or escalation as appropriate.\n\nSupport technical review, change review, and engineering approval processes.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering and Operations to improve the accuracy and flow of engineering information into downstream business systems, including NetSuite ERP.\n\nCoach engineers and operations associates on how the various procedures work and advise them as to which procedures are applicable to the current task.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nRequired\nExperience in engineering document control, configuration management, product data management, manufacturing documentation, or a related technical support role.\n\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.\n\nFamiliarity with revision-controlled documentation, engineering change processes, or structured technical document workflows.\n\nAbility to read and navigate engineering drawings, BOMs, specifications, and other technical documentation.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and other functional teams.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Teams.\n\nDemonstrated initiative, ownership, and ability to identify and resolve documentation or process gaps.\n\nExperience working effectively with engineering management and senior engineers on change control and configuration processes.\n\nAbility to work effectively in a growing organization with evolving tools, processes, and priorities.\n\nPreferred\n2+ years of experience in engineering document control, configuration management, product data management, or a related role.\n\nExperience coordinating ECOs, ECRs, engineering releases, or product configuration changes.\n\nExperience with PLM, PDM, or ERP systems, particularly Arena PLM, NetSuite, 3DEXPERIENCE, Altium 365, or similar tools.\n\nExperience in defense, aerospace, electronics, manufacturing, or other controlled technical product environments.\n\nFamiliarity with ITAR, EAR, security classification, and the handling of controlled or sensitive technical data.\n\nExperience supporting product development, new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing releases, or production sustainment.\n\nFamiliarity with engineering BOMs, product baselines, revision management, and formal engineering approval workflows.\n\nExperience implementing or improving engineering document control and release processes.\n\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001, AS9100, or related quality and configuration management practices.\n\nBenefits included:\nGenerous PTO policy\n\nComprehensive medical coverage (80% company-paid for employee + dependents).\n\nVision
