If innovation drives you, and you want a career that makes a difference to the world, helping humanity overcome the challenges in our oceans - safely, efficiently, and sustainably -then come join us at Kraken Robotics.\nKraken Robotics is currently recruiting for an IntermediateElectrical Engineer to join our Dartmouth, Nova Scotia office.\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nDesign and develop printed circuit boards (PCBs) for electronic systems, ensuring functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.\nConducting circuit simulations using software tools to analyze and optimize circuit performance, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.\nDesigning wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for electrical systems, considering factors such as signal integrity, thermal management, and EMC/EMI compliance.\nDeveloping system architectures and integrating electrical components into larger systems, considering overall functionality, performance, and safety requirements.\nLeading electrical engineering projects from concept to completion. Support the project management office in developing work breakdown structures.\nWorking closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, and product designers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other components.\nDirect activities to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications and customer requirements.\nDeveloping test plans and procedures, conducting testing, and performing validation to ensure the reliability and performance of electrical systems.\nEstablish design criteria for projects using required codes and standards.\nParticipate in the design review process.\nReview and approval of engineering deliverables.\nWork with the Production department to provide technical assistance during the manufacturing process.\nWork with customers to understand project requirements and provide operational support while in the field.\nMentor Electrical Engineers and Technologists.\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nElectrical Engineering degree or equivalent engineering discipline with 4+ years experience.\nExcellent design standards and strong troubleshooting skills.\nEffectively focus on high level project objectives while executing detailed design tasks.\nIncredible attention to detail.\nDemonstrated technical skills along with a proven track record for success.\nExperience in the design specification, installation and connection methods of electrical equipment.\nDesign and review PCB Fab drawings, PCB Assembly drawings and provide input into new product designs.\nStrong written and oral communications skills (technical reporting).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nMust be able to work independently, as well as effectively within a team environment.\nHigh degree of organization, with the ability to prioritize task.\nPREFERRED SKILLS\nExperience with the following would be considered an asset: \nExperience with Altium. \n\nExperience with Zuken E3. \n\nExperience with Sonar systems especially in an ocean environment. \n\nExperience with LabVIEW. \n\nExperience with high voltages. \n\nExperience with ABB motors and drives. \n\nExperience with embedded
