at Kraken Robotics.\nKraken Robotics is currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Technologist to join our team in Dartmouth, NS.\nROLES AND RESPONSBILITIES\nUse a variety of hand and power tools for daily assembly and maintenance tasks.\nCreate technical drawings using CAD to develop jigs and fixtures\nAssist engineers and Production Support team during setup, testing, and commissioning of equipment.\nConducts performance tests, analyzing results and troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions to ensure systems operate efficiently\nPerforming preventive maintenance, installing, and commissioning hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems\nDiagnosing issues in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, control, and electrical systems, and implementing corrective actions\nResponding to process failures including root cause analysis\nCreate and update work instruction on how to build a product\nTrain production personnel on how to build products as per work or test instructions\nParticipate in Material Review Board meetings and Non conformance investigation by providing technical expertise\nSupport in repairing or replacing malfunctioning components such as motors, pumps, valves, and gears\nInvestigate problems related to methods and engineering documentation and initiate appropriate corrective measures\nWork independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of organization and documentation.\nFollow safety procedures and regulatory standards to ensure a safe work environment\nQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nDegree in Engineering technology, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)\nProficient in the use of hand and power tools\nAt least 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical technology or engineering projects\nExperience in manufacturing, R&D, or product testing environments.\nExperience with testing procedures, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nDESIRED SKILLS\nAdequate knowledge in Microsoft Office Application\nCan read and interpret technical and schematic drawings\nFamiliarity with CAD software or basic drafting.\nKnowledge of PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls.\nUnderstanding of quality systems (ISO, Six Sigma,
