You’ll join a collaborative, high-performing People Operations team, working closely with our Kraken Capabilities team, and business leaders.\nThis role is critical to ensuring a brilliant, seamless experience across the employee lifecycle - from post-offer onboarding through to off-boarding - while continuously improving our systems and processes to enhance both individual and organisational performance.\nWhat you’ll own:\nOwn and improve people systems (e.g. HiBob, Ashby, Zinc), ensuring data integrity, usability, and scalability.\n\nLead and support global People Ops initiatives - from design to implementation - across onboarding, internal mobility, and exits.\n\nCoordinate onboarding logistics including equipment, contracts, system access, and background checks.\n\nSupport Visa operations: tracking visa types, right to work, and maintaining documentation/templates.\n\nMaintain and localise policies, handbooks, and guides, whilst maintaining compliance according to local legislation.\n\nAdvise managers and employees on people tools and policies, ensuring a compliant and human-first experience.\n\nCollaborate with Legal, IT, Talent, and Payroll to ensure smooth, secure, and compliant processes across geographies.\n\nWhat you'll bring to the party:\nSolid experience in People Operations or HR, ideally in high-growth and global environments.\n\nStrong understanding of HR systems - especially Hibob and ATS tools (e.g. Ashby).\n\nBasic knowledge of APAC employment practices, with the ability to adapt and learn as needed.\n\nA people-first mindset with a knack for building efficient, scalable processes.\n\nStrong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.\n\nYou’ve managed people admin across multiple countries and are familiar with different regulations and practices.\n\nExperience with benefits administration and/or immigration processes is a plus.\n\nNative in Japanese language, and fluency in English.\n\nAre you ready for a career with us?
