This includes developing and monitoring project schedules and budgets, tracking scope changes, and providing transparency on project performance. The Project Controller prepares cost and schedule reports, tracks cost variances, forecasts estimate-to-complete (ETC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC), and works proactively with the project team to identify cost savings and risks before they become problems. The Project Controller interfaces with all aspects of the organization to ensure comprehensive project oversight and alignment.\nThis is a hybrid position based in Fremont, CA.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop, update, and monitor project work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets\n\nTrack cost variances against budget and forecast estimate-to-complete (ETC) and estimate-at-completion (EAC) on a rolling basis, predicting future spend curves\n\nTrack, document, and communicate changes in project scope, cost, and schedule, including change order impact analysis\n\nPartner with project managers and site leadership to drive budget accountability and disciplined cost management across the organization\n\nPrepare and maintain project cost, schedule, and risk analysis reports\n\nDevelop and analyze performance metrics to track project progress and identify areas for improvement\n\nIdentify cost savings and risks, and support the implementation of financial risk mitigation strategies\n\nManage project invoices and ensure timely collection\n\nAdhere to accounting guidelines and relevant regulations\n\nSupport project closeout, reconciling final costs against baseline\n\nAdditional duties assigned by management\n\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field\n\n5+ years of experience in finance and accounting analysis, preferably with project-based experience\n\nPrior experience working closely with Project Managers and managing multiple projects at a time.\n\nExperience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system preferred (training provided)\n\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus\n\nComfortable using AI tools such as Claude\n\nAdvanced Excel
