The Controller position, working with our Venture Capital and Private Equity clients, is an operational and financial manager position that collaborates very closely with Senior Management. If you are a seasoned professional with excellent interpersonal skills coupled with strong experience and skills in the area of Finance & Accounting, we are looking for you.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare Fund and Management Company financial statements\nReview and summarize complex investment transactions, including mergers\nHelp determine company valuations via public market comparable analysis, 409a review\nReview of portfolio companies with general partners\nManage the audit and tax return preparation process, including foreign tax filings\nEnsure international compliance with foreign regulatory agencies\nOversee the financial statement preparation process for domestic and offshore funds\nMonitor compliance with complex partnership agreements\nAssist with amendments and LP meeting presentations\nPrepare investor communications for capital calls, distributions & liquidity announcements\nInteract with and respond to limited partner requests\nPerform special projects for venture funds as requested\nWork as interim financial consultant to various startup companies as needed\nManage, mentor and motivate staff on engagements\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 10-12 years combined Big 4 & VC experience required\nCPA\nExcellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word & PowerPoint.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAccounting or Finance degree required\nThe company recognizes your contributions to our growth and allows you to participate in a comprehensive compensation program which includes 401K with employer match, health benefits and our bonus program.
