This role requires deep expertise in precision machine systems, the ability to independently manage large-scale service projects, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.\nThe ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with CNC machine tools, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and the ability to coordinate installations and rebuilds from start to finish. This position requires frequent travel, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and collaboration with customers, OEMs, vendors, and internal teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the subject matter expert for complex mechanical and machine tool issues\nPerform major machine tool rebuilds, reconditioning, and precision fitting\nConduct advanced diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems\nTroubleshoot and repair machine tool components, including electronic circuitry to the component level\nDismantle, rebuild, and reassemble machine tool subassemblies and complete systems\nPerform precision alignment, leveling, scraping, and mechanical adjustments\nOrganize, tag, and document machine components for accurate reassembly\nIdentify, repair, or replace damaged mechanical and electrical components\nCoordinate and complete full machine installations\nIndependently plan, organize, and execute complex service calls and rebuild projects\nTrain, mentor, and support lower-level mechanics and technicians\nCollaborate with customers, OEMs, vendors, and internal personnel to resolve technical issues\nMaintain accurate service reports and expense documentation\nEnsure all work meets company quality and safety standards\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment\nTravel to customer facilities with limited notice\nPerform additional duties as assigned\nQualifications & Requirements\n5+ years of advanced CNC machine tool mechanical experience\nExpert-level knowledge of mechanical systems, machine components, and precision assemblies\nAdvanced troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving skills\nStrong understanding of CNC controls across multiple manufacturers\nProven ability to independently manage complex rebuilds and installations\nExperience working with precision measurement and test equipment\nStrong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal communication skills\nAbility to work with minimal supervision in high-responsibility environments\nWillingness and ability to travel\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequent bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, balancing, kneeling, and reaching.\nStanding and walking 8-10 hours per day.\nLift up to 60 lbs. regularly (with or without crane assistance).\nPush/pull up to 35 lbs. regularly.\nClimb stairs and ladders.\nWork on elevated platforms.\nWork in uncontrolled environments (noise, dust, dirt, mobile equipment).\nWork overtime and weekends as required.\nDaily and overnight travel (approximately 30-50%).\nAbility to use all limbs with dexterity and maintain visual/audio awareness of surroundings.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\n· None.\nEqual Opportunity Statement\nKRC Machine Tool Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.\nSalary Description\n$40 -
