You will solve complex database problems, improve performance and advise teams on database design and best practices.\nThe ideal candidate is a deep technical expert who enjoys hard problems. You should be comfortable acting as the go-to resource for database questions across projects.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nServes as the technical expert for Oracle database design, performance and security.\nDiagnoses and resolves complex database and performance issues.\nReviews database designs, SQL and PL/SQL code for quality and efficiency.\nPlans and supports database upgrades, migrations and consolidations.\nRecommends standards, tools and best practices for Oracle environments.\nSupports high availability and disaster recovery planning.\nMentors database administrators and developers.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n7+ years of Oracle database experience across administration and development.\nExpert knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL and PL/SQL.\nExperience with performance tuning tools such as AWR, ASH and SQL Tuning Advisor.\nExperience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard or similar high availability tools.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment.\nContinually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nOracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM).\nExperience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or AWS database services.\nExperience supporting federal government contracts.\nCompensation: $53,192.88 - $59,103.20\nKreative Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
