You will follow test scripts, log defects clearly and help make sure releases work as expected.\nThe ideal candidate is careful, patient and detail-oriented. You should be comfortable repeating test steps precisely and describing problems so developers can fix them.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nExecutes manual test cases and test scripts according to test plans.\nRecords test results and captures evidence such as screenshots.\nLogs defects with clear steps to reproduce, expected results and actual results.\nRetests fixed defects and runs regression tests.\nPrepares and maintains test data.\nAssists with updating test cases and test documentation.\nSupports user acceptance testing as needed.\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\n1+ year of software testing, quality assurance or technical support experience.\nExperience following written test procedures and documenting results.\nFamiliarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps.\nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment.\nContinually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nISTQB Foundation Level certification.\nBasic SQL knowledge for checking test data.\nExperience supporting federal government contracts.\nCompensation: $52,959 - $58,843 per year\nKreative Technologies is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing a workplace free from harassment and discrimination.
