This internship provides an opportunity to develop your commercial awareness, communication skills, and understanding of how marketing agencies acquire and develop business opportunities.\n\nJob Responsibilities: \n\nAssist the Business Development team in identifying and researching potential clients, industries, and business opportunities.\n\nConduct market research and competitor analysis to support business development strategies and identify potential growth opportunities.\n\nAssist in prospecting activities, including maintaining prospect databases, identifying key decision-makers, and supporting outreach initiatives.\n\nSupport the preparation of business proposals, pitch decks, company presentations, quotations, and other sales-related materials.\n\nAssist in coordinating client meetings, preparing meeting materials, and documenting discussion points and follow-up actions.\n\nSupport the team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of prospects, sales activities, client information, and business development pipelines.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams to gather relevant information about KCS's services, capabilities, and marketing solutions for business development purposes.\n\nAssist your superior with administrative, coordination, and other tasks related to business development and client acquisition initiatives.\n\nRequirements\n\nPreferably candidates who are currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, International Business, Sales, or a related discipline.\n\nStrong interest in business development, sales, marketing, client acquisition, and commercial activities.\n\nGood research, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to gather information and identify relevant business opportunities.\n\nAble to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in English is required, while Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, or other languages will be an added advantage.\n\nProactive, enthusiastic, and willing to learn, with a positive attitude towards taking initiative and supporting business development activities.\n\nGood interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate professionally with internal teams and, where appropriate, prospective clients.\n\nBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, presentation tools, and spreadsheets.
