We also offer businesses an API-based infrastructure for secure and low-cost cross-border payments to many African countries.\n\nWe are recruiting to fill the position below:\n\nJob Title: Product Designer\n\nLocation: Lagos\n\nJob type: Full-time\n\nAbout the role\n\n We’re looking for a Product Designer who knows how to design products, not just screens.\n\n You’ll work on complex financial products across consumer, business, and infrastructure experiences. You should be comfortable taking a problem from an early requirement or rough idea through research, flows, interaction design, polished UI, developer handoff, and ultimately a shipped product.\n\n We care about craft, but great-looking interfaces alone aren’t enough. We’re looking for someone who understands how products work, can make strong decisions, collaborate closely with product and engineering, and demonstrate the impact of what they’ve shipped.\n\nWhat you'll do\n\n Own product design work from problem definition to production.\n\n Translate product requirements and business goals into clear user flows and product experiences.\n\n Question requirements when necessary and identify gaps, edge cases, technical constraints, and opportunities before jumping into UI.\n\n Design complex workflows across mobile and web products.\n\n Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, interaction models, and high-fidelity interfaces.\n\n Think deeply about states beyond the happy path, including loading, empty, error, permission, validation, edge cases, and failure scenarios.\n\n Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers throughout implementation rather than treating handoff as the end of the design process.\n\n Participate in design QA and ensure what ships meets the intended experience and quality.\n\n Contribute to and evolve our design system.\n\n Use data, research, customer feedback, and product metrics to evaluate design decisions.\n\n Document important design decisions, behaviours, interactions, and implementation requirements.\n\n Use AI tools to accelerate research, exploration, prototyping, documentation, and execution where appropriate.\n\n Take ownership of outcomes and continuously improve products after launch.\n\nQualifications\n\nProduct Thinking:\n\n You can look beyond individual screens and understand the complete system.\n\n You should be able to explain:\r\n\n What problem you were solving.\n\n Why the problem mattered.\n\n How you arrived at your solution.\n\n What alternatives you considered.\n\n What constraints influenced the design.\n\n What you personally owned.\n\n What eventually shipped.\n\n What happened after it shipped.\n\nProven Shipping Experience:\n\n Your portfolio should contain real products that reached users, not only concepts, redesign exercises, or visual explorations.\n\n We want to see evidence of ownership across the product lifecycle and, where possible, measurable outcomes such as:\r\n\n Conversion improvements\n\n Increased activation or adoption\n\n Reduced drop-off\n\n Increased transaction success\n\n Reduced support requests\n\n
