Experience with Siemens NX, CATIA, Creo or equivalent CAD platforms is also valued.\nDemonstrated experience translating external and internal requirements into robust mechanical solutions, balancing performance, manufacturability, cost, schedule and integration constraints throughout iterative development cycles.\nExtensive experience designing complex mechanical components and assemblies, with a strong understanding of mechanical interfaces, system integration and configuration control.\nProven ability to analyse engineering challenges critically, generate alternative design approaches, evaluate trade-offs and drive technical decisions based on engineering evidence.\nStrong experience creating detailed manufacturing documentation, including GD&T, interface definitions, assembly procedures and technical drawing packages.\nGood knowledge of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA), particularly machining, metal fabrication, additive manufacturing and precision assembly.\nExperience collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, thermal, systems, manufacturing and test engineers, to converge on optimal technical solutions.\nPractical understanding of mechanical and thermal analysis workflows, including model preparation, meshing strategies, simulation setup, interpretation of results and validation of engineering assumptions.
