You’ll work closely with experienced members of the team, supporting financial analysis, investigations, valuations and the preparation of client reports.\nOur Forensics team works on a diverse range of assignments, supporting solicitors, businesses, individuals and other organisations across both civil and criminal matters. You’ll have the opportunity to work with financial information and develop your ability to analyse, interpret and communicate complex financial data in a clear and meaningful way.\nAbout the role\nAs a Forensics Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality forensic accounting assignments. You’ll work as part of the wider team to ensure assignments are delivered accurately, efficiently, within budget and in line with Kreston Reeves’ quality standards.\nYou’ll gain exposure to a range of work, including financial analysis, business valuations, investigations and Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) work, giving you the opportunity to build valuable technical and commercial skills. Kreston Reeves’ Forensics specialists work on matters including fraud investigations, loss of profits and earnings claims, commercial disputes, matrimonial matters and POCA confiscation work.\nYou will also support the team with administrative work including billing, maintaining sales opportunities, onboarding clients and drafting engagement letters.\nWhat you'll be doing\nAssignment & Workflow Management\nSupport the delivery of forensic accounting and valuation assignments across the service line.\nAnalyse financial statements, management accounts and other financial information to support client assignments.\nAnalyse bank statements and other financial records for use in investigations and POCA work.\nAssist with the preparation of forensic reports, schedules and supporting documentation.\nPrepare client onboarding documentation and ensure relevant information is complete and accurate.\nManage your workload effectively, ensuring assignments are completed within agreed timescales and budgets.\nFollow Kreston Reeves’ service line procedures and quality standards, escalating issues to the appropriate Manager where required.\nAssist with departmental billing and maintaining the team’s sales pipeline\n Client & Stakeholder Relationships\nAct as a point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders on elements of assigned work.\nLiaise with colleagues across Kreston Reeves to obtain relevant financial and client information.\nBuild positive working relationships with colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team environment.\nSupport Managers and senior team members in delivering a high-quality client experience.\nWhat we're looking for\nWe’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical and keen to develop a career in forensic accounting.
