You’ll maintain and build your own network, work closely with our IPs and wider Kreston Reeves teams, and contribute to the continued growth and strategy of the service line.\nAbout the role\nGenerate new leads and opportunities through your existing network across Kent and the South East. \nDevelop and expand relationships with lawyers, accountants, lenders and other professional advisers. \nBuild and convert your own pipeline of new business and contribute to the team's fee targets. \nWork closely with IPs to ensure advisory assignments are appropriately scoped, deliverable and managed within budget. \nManage and contribute to formal corporate insolvency and advisory assignments, with a focus on strategy and more complex matters. \nDevelop towards taking, or continue to take, formal insolvency appointments. \nBuild strong relationships with clients, intermediaries and colleagues across Kreston Reeves. \nContribute to pitches, networking events, presentations and other BD activity. \nContribute to the development of team members through co-working and coaching. \nContribute to the wider strategy and continued growth of the Restructuring & Insolvency service line. \nAt Senior Manager level, take greater ownership of new business generation, client relationships and service line strategy. \nWhat we're looking for\n5+ years' experience in restructuring and insolvency, including formal insolvency and advisory assignments. \nJIEB qualified or a desire to become qualified. \nAn established intermediary network across Kent / the South East and a track record of winning new work. \nA strong appetite for business development and lead generation, with the drive to grow your network. \nStrong technical knowledge and experience handling a variety of restructuring matters. \nCommercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, fees and recovery. \nStrong client relationship, communication and influencing skills. \nExperience managing and developing people. \nA collaborative, proactive and commercially focused approach. \n The opportunity\n\nThis is an opportunity to combine technical restructuring expertise with genuine business development ownership, growing your own network while contributing to the delivery of more complex assignments and the future direction of the team.\nFor the right person, there is also the opportunity to develop towards or continue taking formal appointments.\nWhat we can offer\nFinancial wellbeing - competitive salary, contributory pension scheme, Life Assurance, Health Cash Plan, Income Protection Scheme and Perks at Work discounts and rewards. \nLeave - 27.5 days plus bank holidays, holiday buying Mental wellbeing - hybrid working and flexible working policies, Employee Assistance Programme and counselling\nPhysical wellbeing -Private Medical Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance and an annual flu jab. \nRecognition - monthly nominations for financial awards based on culture and values\nDevelopment - we offer continuous support and development with clear mapped progression routes across the business, as well as access to internal and external training courses\nDiversity, inclusion and belonging - we operate several family-friendly policies and take proactive steps to create an inclusive environment\nESG - give as you earn, 1 extra day off each year to take up volunteering opportunities.
