About KREWE

KREWE is an independent, high-fashion eyewear brand rooted in the vibrant culture and boundless creativity of our hometown, New Orleans - and now proudly headquartered in both New Orleans and New York City. Since our launch in 2013, KREWE has grown into a dynamic brand celebrated for its distinctive, handcrafted sun and optical frames that reflect a deep commitment to quality, individuality, and design.

In 2022, we opened the doors to our NYC headquarters in the heart of the Meatpacking District, building a second home for the brand that brings New Orleans’ culture, creativity, and energy to one of the world’s most iconic design capitals. Our presence now spans brick-and-mortar boutiques, mobile retail concepts, and a thriving e-commerce platform - alongside distribution through premier independents and top national retailers. Celebrated for our unique approach to design, KREWE has cultivated a loyal following among style-conscious consumers and influential tastemakers.

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for passionate, driven, and innovative individuals to join our talented team. At KREWE our work is fast-paced, collaborative, and deeply mission-driven. Our people are high-performing and ambitious - not just about hitting goals, but about building something that’s original, culturally rooted and globally resonant. Every team member at KREWE has the opportunity to own their role and make a lasting impact. If this sounds like the right environment for you we invite you to apply below.

We are currently searching for a Demand Planner to lead KREWE’s enterprise demand and inventory planning strategy across Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale, driving forecast accuracy, inventory productivity, and cross-functional alignment to optimize business performance and support scalable growth.

This role is based in our New Orleans Headquarters 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner on OTB across all channels, managing WOS, inventory turn, ATS, receipt flow, and inventory investment against sales and financial targets.
  • Translate demand signals and in-season performance across Retail, E-commerce, and Wholesale into actionable inventory plans, allocation, replenishment, and receipt recommendations.
  • Create and manage top-down and bottom-up finished goods forecasts, ensuring alignment between financial plans, demand expectations, and inventory needs.
  • Own forecast accuracy, regularly analyzing variance to plan, identifying the drivers of forecast error, and continuously improving forecasting assumptions and methodology.
  • Partner on monthly SKU-level demand forecasts, incorporating selling trends, product lifecycle, channel needs, inventory position, and future business initiatives.
  • Play an active role in the monthly S&OP and hindsight processes, providing the inventory and demand analysis needed to align Planning, Manufacturing, Operations, and Finance around risks, opportunities, and actions.
  • Lead forecasting and analysis for new product introductions, developing initial demand assumptions and continuously adjusting forecasts as selling data becomes available.
  • Drive inventory efficiency by establishing inventory targets, balancing demand and supply, managing product carryover decisions, and identifying opportunities to improve inventory flow and lead times.
  • Proactively identify inventory risks and opportunities, partnering with Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to close inventory gaps, mitigate overstock, and protect sales.
  • Facilitate long-range demand and inventory forecasting to provide Manufacturing and Supply Chain with greater visibility into future capacity and inventory requirements.
  • Consolidate and analyze Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, and operational data to create a holistic view of demand and inventory performance across KREWE.
  • Build, maintain, and publish reporting that clearly communicates business performance, inventory health, forecast accuracy, risks, and opportunities.
  • Turn analysis into action, using selling results and inventory performance to influence future buys, receipt timing, inventory positioning, and demand forecasts.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and scenario planning to support business decisions and changing needs as KREWE continues to grow.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in merchandise planning, demand forecasting, inventory planning, supply chain, analytics, or a related field within fashion, eyewear, accessories, or specialty retail.
  • Strong command of retail math and planning fundamentals, including forecasting, OTB, WOS, inventory turn, sell-through, receipt flow, and inventory productivity.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; hands-on experience with NetSuite and Shopify strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable building processes from scratch and operating in an environment where the tools, reporting, and ways of working are continuing to evolve.
  • Able to move easily between the big picture and the details, connecting the financial plan and broader business strategy all the way down to SKU-level performance and inventory decisions.
  • Highly analytical with a critical eye for data and the ability to identify what matters, understand the story behind the numbers, and translate analysis into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Strong business partner who can effectively engage, influence, and build credibility with partners and leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Confident in creating and delivering clear, impactful presentations and communicating complex information to cross-functional audiences.
  • Highly organized and effective at managing multiple competing priorities, with the judgment to continually prioritize based on the needs of the business.
  • Proactive, assertive, and highly self-directed, with a strong sense of ownership and consistent follow-through with leaders, colleagues, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and appropriately across different audiences.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and willing to roll up their sleeves to solve problems while also helping build more scalable processes for the future.
