We’ve built a reputation of crafting high-quality homes and are looking for high-quality team members to join our mission.\nThe Role\nThe Senior Accountant supports accurate financial reporting and efficient accounting operations across the organization.\nThis role prepares financial statements, manages cash flow and work-in-progress reporting, supports subsidiary accounting and banking activity, and improves reporting processes through automation.\nA successful candidate would be a self-starter, hands-on accounting professional who can take ownership of the financial close and reporting process, can partner effectively with operations, and has the ability and ambition to grow into a leadership role within the team.\nCore Responsibilities\nFinancial Reporting & Consolidation:\nPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.\nConsolidate results and reconcile intercompany activity.\nManage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and close processes for subsidiary entities.\nSupport audits, tax preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.\nCash Flow, WIP & Banking:\nMaintain weekly cash flow reports and communicate risks and funding needs.\nPrepare and reconcile work-in-progress schedules.\nRecord loan activity and maintain debt schedules.\nCoordinate account, financing, and reporting needs with banking partners.\nProcess Improvement & Automation:\nAutomate recurring reports, reconciliations, and data consolidation.\nDocument and improve accounting processes.\nTurn financial data into useful insight for leadership.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.\nStrong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, cash flow reporting, and month-end close.\nAdvanced spreadsheet skills and comfort working with large data sets.\nStrong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nExperience with construction or real estate accounting, WIP reporting, multi-entity consolidation, Sage, automation, lender reporting, or treasury operations is preferred.\nWhat You'll Love About KRM\nGreat Company Culture.We hire by core values, which allows us to live them every day.\nHealth Benefits*.We offer medical, dental, vision and long-term disability coverage.\nPrepare for the Future*.We offer 401(k) with a company contribution (even if you don’t contribute).\nOur People.We hire the best people, and we think you’ll like them too.\nWe recognize hard work, and we spread the love.
