We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Manager to lead our efforts in maintaining and enhancing our environmental performance while ensuring compliance with regulations.\n As the Environmental Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing environmental strategies and programs to support the company’s continual improvements and sustainability goals. You will oversee environmental compliance, conduct risk assessments, and work cross-functionally to foster a culture of environmental management.\nThis is an operational, site-based compliance role focused on permit management, regulatory liaison, and environmental risk control at a manufacturing facility. It is not a corporate ESG, sustainability reporting, or carbon strategy position. Candidates without hands-on regulatory/permit experience will not be suitable.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement environmental policies, procedures, and initiatives aligned with regulatory requirements and company objectives.\nMonitor and ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and permits.\nConduct environmental impact assessments and audits.\nLead projects and initiatives to reduce environmental footprint.\nPrepare reports and communicate environmental performance to stakeholders.\nCollaborate with internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners.\nProvide training and raise awareness on environmental issues across the organisation.\n Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.\nRelevant certifications (e.g., IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental) are essential.\nExperience in working with Natural Resources Wales, Environment Agency or other national/local regulators.\nAt least 5 years’ experience in environmental management or a similar role.\nStrong knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices.\nExcellent project management and communication skills.\nAbility to analyse
