We are Kronospan.\n This position is responsible for developing and maintaining sales relationships with customers of Kronospan LLC and Kronospan Particleboard LLC. This position is also responsible for the sale of the company’s products with the goal of maximizing customer service as well as profits for the company; products may include MDF/HDF, Particleboard, and TFL (thermally fused laminate) Particleboard. This position sells the company’s products through the use of technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and assist the customer in their buying decisions.\nDevelop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities and products, industry trends, and customer and consumer needs\nResearch customer/consumer needs and develop strategies to effectively meet those needs\nFollow up on sales leads and develop sales leads\nMaintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect targeted markets\nMeet established sales quotas and revenue goals\nDevelop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff, plant management and associates, and customers\nProvides day-to-day management of sales account activities within assigned customer base.\nAct to close deals and finalize contracts\nOther duties as assigned by supervisor or managing director\nAssist in the preparation of quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers\nMaintain all quote documentation with accurate product pricing\nResearch and develop lists of potential customers\nParticipate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner\nCreate and maintain sales reports\nAssist in order reception and other customer service duties as needed\nAssist in planning and scheduling processes as needed\n Intermediate knowledge of MS Office software\nAbility to create graphic presentations for customers, shareholder, and senior management\n2-3 years in a sales position or equivalent experience in operations\nBachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, or business or equivalent experience\nMust have a basic understanding of board manufacturing technology and processes\nMust have excellent written and verbal communication / presentation skills\nMust have excellent customer relations skills including customer response, service improvement, and the ability and willingness to keep commitments\nMust display original thinking and creativity through resourcefulness, suggestions, and problem solving\nMust have intimate knowledge of all Kronospan LLC products\nMust have excellent math skills including the ability to compute rates, ratios, and percents as well as to create and interpret
