You may be a recent graduate with strong practical experience or have approximately 1–3 years of professional software development experience.\nYou should be comfortable writing Python and have some experience building APIs using FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar frameworks. You do not need to have experience with every technology in our stack, but you should have strong technical fundamentals and be motivated to grow into a highly capable backend engineer.\nFunctions\nDevelop and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.\nHelp build and improve data ingestion and processing pipelines that power analytics for global consumer brands.\nBuild and maintain API services that support the Krunchbox platform.\nWork with large datasets and help improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.\nContribute to cloud infrastructure and CI/CD workflows.\nCollaborate closely with senior engineers, product, and data teams to deliver new capabilities.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.\nWrite clean, well-tested, and maintainable code.\nContribute to engineering documentation and best practices.\nUse modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate learning, coding, debugging, and problem-solving.\nDesirable\nNice-to-have skills include:\nExperience with FastAPI or another Python web framework.\nFamiliarity with SQL and relational databases.\nExposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nExperience working with ETL/ELT processes or data pipelines.\nFamiliarity with analytics databases such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.\nExposure to orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.\nBasic full-stack experience with React or TypeScript.\nInterest in AI/ML systems and infrastructure.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.\nPersonal projects, internships, open-source contributions, or university projects that demonstrate strong software engineering
