We are looking for a hands-on UAV Assembly Technician to support the assembly and integration of unmanned aerial systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nBuild UAV airframes and integrate mechanical, composite, electronic, and mechatronic components from drawings and technical documentation to finished, signed-off assembly. \nPerform composite and mechanical assembly, including lamination, vacuum bagging, curing, bonding, drilling, reaming, deburring, tapping, riveting, and fastening. \nPerform electronic assembly and integration, including soldering, PCB preparation, wiring, harnesses, servo mounting, and other aircraft components. \nSupport UAV and mechatronic system integration and testing, including electronic, powerplant, and structural testing. \nWork from 2D drawings and bills of materials, building to the current revision. \nMake and maintain jigs, fixtures, and moulds. \nComplete build records, including serial numbers, component and adhesive batches, torque records, and deviations. \nIdentify and report non-conformities when something is not right. \nMaintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and traceability. \nWork closely with the team in a complex, fast-paced environment with evolving technology challenges. \nRequirements\nMBO level 2-3 in mechanical, electronics, mechatronics, construction, production, or a related discipline, or demonstrably equivalent practical experience. \n3 years minimum experience in similar tasks. \nFluent English is a must. \nDrone A1/A2/A3 EASA license is a plus. \nSkills & Abilities Required\nDrone/RC background and experience. \nFine and accurate hand-working skills. \nHands-on experience in one or more of the following areas: \nComposite assembly and manufacturing, including wet lay-up or prepreg, vacuum bagging, and curing. \nMetal fitting and mechanical assembly, including drilling and reaming to tolerance, deburring, threading, inserts, riveting, and torquing. \nElectronics assembly, soldering, PCB preparation, wiring, and harness assembly. \nMechatronic assembly and integration. \nStructural bonding experience, including surface preparation, mixing by weight, and working within pot life and cure schedules. \nExperience reading technical drawings and BOMs; comfortable using tools such as calipers and micrometers. \nQuality control: build sheets, batch numbers, deviations, and traceability. \nOwnership of tasks, teamwork, and agility are a must. \nComfortable navigating complex, fast-paced environments with evolving technology challenges. \nFPV & RC piloting abilities are a plus. \nIPC/WHMA-A-620, IPC-A-610, or J-STD-001 certificates are a plus. \nWhy KRUSH Labs?\nBased in Eindhoven, KRUSH Labs is a privately owned R&D, engineering, and prototyping center where multidisciplinary teams develop next-generation solutions in advanced hardware, embedded systems, wireless communication, sensing, autonomous technologies, AI, and software.\nWe support the complete innovation journey, from research and proof of concept to rapid prototyping, system integration, validation, and manufacturing readiness.
