This is why we are committed to equal rights and treatment worldwide and never lose sight of the aspects ecology and sustainability when manufacturing our products.\nPosition Summary\nThe General Manager is responsible for the overall management, performance, and development of a vertically integrated manufacturing and service business of approximately 100 employees and annual sales volume of approximately $25M. This role leads the turnaround and future growth of the company across sales, engineering, foundry, machining, assembly, testing, and service, while driving profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction within a global operating environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness Leadership & Strategy\nLead the overall performance, management, and development of the company.\nDevelop and execute the business strategy to drive profitable growth, expand share in core and adjacent markets, and support product innovation.\nDrive strategic initiatives that ensure sustainable profitability for the company while supporting the Reverse Engineering Center of Excellence for KSB America North.\nAlign business priorities with broader business unit, group, and enterprise objectives.\nOperational & Financial Leadership\nFull P&L accountability for the business and deliver strong financial results through disciplined, results-oriented leadership.\nLead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence through lean management, accountability, and continuous improvement.\nOversee business planning and monthly rolling forecasts across all facilities, using financial and operational data to guide decisions and measure progress against objectives.\nEnsure full compliance with applicable laws, corporate guidelines, and internal procedures.\nCulture, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness\nFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the business.\nBuild a high-performance organization that promotes engagement, accountability, empowerment, and strong cross-functional teamwork.\nDevelop, coach, and retain talent through visible leadership, performance management, succession focus, and continuous feedback.\nLead change effectively and influence across functions and levels to align teams around business priorities.\nChampion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the organization.\nCustomer & Market Leadership\nDrive a customer-focused culture that supports responsiveness, service quality, and long-term customer relationships.\nApply strong commercial judgment, negotiation skills, and market awareness to strengthen business performance and customer satisfaction.\nMaintain familiarity with heavy industrial markets, including chemicals, petrochemicals, and energy.\nRepresent the company internally and externally with professionalism and authenticity.\nIndustry & Technical Understanding\nApply strong technical and operational understanding of pumps, rotating equipment, repairs. Also manufacturing processes in a foundry and machining environment.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\nMinimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in industrial product manufacturing and service business operations.\nProven experience leading cross-functional leaders and teams in a complex operating environment.\nStrong strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial leadership capability.\nAbility to assess operational and financial performance and translate insights into action.\nSound decision-making skills, including effective delegation and accountability.\nDemonstrated strength in performance management, talent development, and organizational leadership.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and influence skills across all levels of the organization.\nFluency in English.\nInclusive and empowering leadership style.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s degree in Business or Engineering.Technical degree or relevant technical background.\n\nAdditional language proficiency.\nKSB Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
