This is why we are committed to equal rights and treatment worldwide and never lose sight of the aspects ecology and sustainability when manufacturing our products.\nFoundry Employee Level 1 - Melting\nReports To: Foundry Supervisor\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nWear all PPE required\nFollow all GIW Safety guidelines \nKeeps area neat, clean, and safe\nSecure and rope off pouring floor prior to pouring\nAble to work any scheduled hours\nAble to follow and understand work instructions\nAble to read a tape measure\nAble to follow and understand SOPs\nAble to set up and sand in molds \nAble to bolt up closed molds and understand bolting requirements\nAble to inspect molds with a borescope camera \nAble to set and pull mold weights \nAble to understand and verify riser height \nOperates overhead crane, skid steer, forklift, and dump trucks\nAble to understand and document inspection forms for cranes, forklifts, man lifts and scissor lifts\nKnows how to patch ladles\nMust understand and perform the process of slagging off ladles during pouring\nFollow all instructions given by team leads and supervisor \nEducation: High School Diploma or GED\nPhysical Requirements:\nFrequently:\nStanding, walking, sitting, bending, squatting, stooping\nLifting, pushing, and pulling Occasionally:\nOverhead work\nClimbing ladders or stairs\nDriving forklifts\nOperating cranes\nGIW Industries, Inc.
