This is why we are committed to equal rights and treatment worldwide and never lose sight of the aspects ecology and sustainability when manufacturing our products.\nPosition Title: Procurement Specialist\nReports To: Senior Manager, Sourcing\nPosition Summary:\nA Procurement Specialist is a well-organized and detail orientated individual, able to manage time effectively in a fast paced environment and continuously demonstrates self-sufficiency in performing the responsibilities of the role. The position requires multitasking with the customer order managers, KSB factories and external suppliers, inventory control and shop personnel, and other internal customers. The primary function of the role is ordering goods and services in adherence to the requirements outlined in purchase requisitions and other such administrative purchases.\nTasks / Responsibilities:\nRespond promptly in adherence to parameters for processing of purchase requests.\nPlace and process purchase orders timely and accurately, as specified in procedural guidelines.\nEffectively process required information to facilitate timely delivery, within targeted parameters.\nTrack orders and effectively communicate delivery timing to requisitioners, as per service level agreements.\nMaintain effective internal customer interface with compliant (timely and accurate) information conveyance.\nWork with KSB factories and external vendors to provide qualifying materials/services within timelines.\nWork to optimize stock levels to fulfill internal and external customer needs.\nAssist in the maintenance of Item Master records and participate in implementation and operation of ERP.\nMaintain complete and accurate procurement and order processing files to aid and facilitate effective information availability.\nAssist in the ongoing measurement of supplier performance.\nProvide backup for other supply chain specialists and department resources.\nOther duties as specifically assigned.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nPurchasing - buying, sourcing, and fulfillment management.\nEffective Project Management - including managing deadlines, identifying stakeholders, understanding, communicating and achieving goals.\nTime management -Effectively prioritizes tasks and manages multiple projects simultaneously.\nActive Learning - Learns quickly and independently on the job; resourceful and proactive problem solver.\nDeductive Reasoning - Applies general rules to specific problems; produces sensible answers.\nInformation recall - Understands the significance of new information for current and future needs.\nIntuition - Identifies and addresses potential problems before they become issues.\nQuality & Productivity - Produces work at a fast rate and with high accuracy and thoroughness, taking responsibility if mistakes occur.\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Effectively utilizes ERP system.\nStrong analytical skills and systematic approach in overcoming impediments.\nEffectively negotiates with internal and external vendors, as well as internal and external counterparts.\nEducation / Experience:\nHigh School diploma required. College or technical degree, preferred.
