You will work closely with engineering and application teams to build reliable deployment environments, improve infrastructure automation, strengthen operational resilience, and ensure cloud platforms are secure, observable, and production-ready.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong hands-on GCP expertise with a solid understanding of Kubernetes, serverless architectures, automation, networking, security, and distributed systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, deploy, configure, and operate production-grade Kubernetes environments using Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).\nManage cluster scalability, resource allocation, workload scheduling, availability, and performance.\nDeploy and operate scalable applications and microservices using Cloud Run, optimizing configurations for concurrency, resource utilization, performance, and startup latency.\nBuild and maintain automated infrastructure provisioning and deployment workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.\nManage core GCP services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and related cloud infrastructure components.\nImplement cloud security best practices, including IAM, least-privilege access, service accounts, VPC controls, secrets management, and encryption.\nDesign and maintain networking components such as VPCs, Shared VPCs, Cloud DNS, Cloud Load Balancing, VPC Peering, and firewall rules.\nMonitor infrastructure health, application performance, latency, availability, and resource utilization using Cloud Monitoring and Cloud Logging.\nBuild proactive monitoring and alerting strategies and troubleshoot complex issues across distributed cloud environments.\nPartner with software engineering teams to define deployment strategies, cloud architecture standards, and infrastructure requirements for applications.\nContribute to high-availability, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, deployment procedures, and disaster recovery plans.\nDrive continuous improvements in platform reliability, automation, security, scalability, and operational efficiency.\nRequired Qualifications\n3-5 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or a related infrastructure-focused role.\nStrong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and operating production workloads in cloud environments.\nProven experience deploying, configuring, scaling, and troubleshooting Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environments.\nHands-on experience deploying and managing workloads with Cloud Run.\nStrong working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Crossplane, or Pulumi.\nExperience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.\nStrong understanding of cloud-native and microservices architectures.\nSolid knowledge of GCP networking concepts and services, including VPCs, Shared VPCs, Cloud DNS, Cloud Load Balancing, VPC Peering, and firewall configuration.\nStrong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, service accounts, secrets management, encryption, and least-privilege access controls.\nExperience with observability and monitoring using Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, or comparable tooling.\nAbility to automate operational tasks using at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, Bash, or Node.js.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose infrastructure, networking, deployment, and performance issues in complex distributed environments.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across infrastructure, platform, and application engineering teams.\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nPreferred Qualifications\nGoogle Cloud Certified -
