Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, CPA(K) or ACCA qualification, membership in ICPAK, and at least four years’ internal or external audit experience The position is based in Nairobi and requires on-site work.\n\nPosition Scope\n\nReporting to the Senior Auditor, the successful candidate will be responsible for executing the Regional audit plan by carrying out audit procedures.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nCarrying out planned audits as per department’s policies, procedures and best practices;\n\nDiscussing audit findings with the respective factory managers and recommending corrective actions / control enhancements where necessary; \n\nCompiling draft reports;\n\nPerforming post-audit follow-up after submission of reports to determine extent of implementation of audit recommendations; \n\nPresenting audit findings to supervisor for escalation;\n\nDiscussing audit follow reports with Regional management/Heads of Departments on any pending audit recommendation;\n\nResolving problems and issues (conflict) from audits that have major impact;\n\nResearching on best practices & emerging issues;\n\nParticipating in developing risk based audit plans;\n\nCarrying out investigative and ad-hoc audit assignments;
