We value and respect individuals from all backgrounds, recognizing that a rich tapestry of experiences and perspectives fuels our success as a company and enriches our collective human experience.\nWhat you’ll be responsible for\nLead the end-to-end development of responses for RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and other customer requests.\nWrite, edit, and refine persuasive proposal content by collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization.\nManage proposal schedules, milestones, and submission deadlines to ensure timely, compliant delivery.\nMaintain and continuously improve Kuali's proposal content library, templates, and response database.\nEnsure all proposals meet customer requirements while maintaining consistency with Kuali's messaging, branding, and strategic positioning.\nCoordinate cross-functional reviews with Sales, Product, Security, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success.\nPerform rigorous quality assurance reviews to ensure proposals are accurate, complete, and professionally presented.\nConduct post-submission reviews and competitive analysis to continuously improve proposal quality and win rates, including reviewing publicly available procurement information where appropriate.\nSupport strategic pursuits by tailoring messaging to customer priorities and competitive positioning.\nContribute to ongoing improvements in proposal processes, tools, and best practices that increase efficiency and quality.\nSupport other revenue initiatives during periods of lower proposal activity.\nIdeal candidates have experience with:\nBachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.\n3+ years of experience writing and managing proposals, RFP responses, or other complex business documents.\nExceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent proposals while meeting aggressive deadlines.\nStrong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.\nExperience collaborating across cross-functional teams to gather information and develop winning proposals.\nAbility to understand technical concepts and communicate them clearly to non-technical audiences.\nExperience developing and maintaining proposal content libraries and reusable response assets.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.\nExperience with proposal management tools is a plus.\nExperience in SaaS, enterprise software, or higher education technology is preferred.\nExperience responding to public sector or higher education procurements is strongly preferred.\nPerks\nRemote-first work\nTop-of-the-line equipment of your choice to get your job done\nA truly exceptional benefits package including full premium coverage for employee and dependent medical and dental care\n401(k) matching\nEmployee stock option plan\nPaid Maternity/Parental leave\nAll the paid time off you need (just work it out with your manager)\nEncouragement and support in learning and improving your skill-sets.\nSpace to work on self-driven projects during quarterly “hack weeks”\nEmployee resource groups and community events\n\nPay Range: $60,000 -
