They become an effective member of our team and a trusted advisor to our customers. You’ll delight customers and facilitate smooth adoption of Kuali products by guiding and advising customers on how to configure and use the system to best meet their needs. We work consciously to create a collaborative and healthy remote work culture, and we travel to meet in person a few times each year.\nWhat you’ll be responsible for\nBuild strong relationships with customers to develop a deep understanding of the problems they’re trying to solve and how they define success.\nAssist customers with planning and implementation of Kuali solutions.\nWork as a functional lead in conjunction with other implementation consultants and customer members throughout the entire implementation lifecycle, including planning, business process analysis and design, configuration, data conversions, integrations, training, go-live, and post-production support. \nBe able to articulate Kuali software capabilities by maintaining an in-depth working knowledge of the software and how it can be configured and implemented to meet customer requirements.\nDemonstrate proficiency in system design and configuration, identification of business process modification, design document creation, data migration analysis, integration analysis, test script identification/execution, train-the-trainer and end-user training development and execution, and change management design and execution.\nPrepare and deliver presentations to customers.\nIn certain cases, work as a project manager and develop work plans.\nComplete complex system-related analysis.\nSuggest approaches and solutions for solving problems that arise within the engagement.\nEnsure that the Kuali application is being effectively utilized by first exploring the customers' unique business and technical requirements and then recommending the most appropriate solution(s) for customers.\nTrain and participate in the professional development of Kuali staff in implementations, project management and technical dimensions.\nManage multiple projects of differing scale and duration.\nShare user feedback with the Product team to help guide product development. \nPlay a supporting role with RFP and sales demos.\nWork with product and sales colleagues to define best practices for product usage, building a library of resources to be used in future engagements.\nAbout you\nYou align with Kuali’s values:You model curiosity, openness, accountability, and a commitment to delivering amazing experiences.\nYou’re a resourceful executor: You take a broad vision, collaborate on strategic priorities, and own the steps required to make it real, from planning to hands-on implementation.\nYou’re calm under pressure: You can handle shifting priorities, ambiguity, and fast-changing situations with resilience.\nYou’re collaborative and influential:You build trust quickly and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization.\nYou’re organized and detail-oriented:You can manage multiple projects at once without losing sight of the big picture.\nYou thrive in remote environments:You know how to create alignment and connection across distributed teams.\nYou roll up your sleeves: You’re comfortable being the ‘doer of last resort’ in a resource-constrained environment.\nYou bring broad experience: You’ve independently led multidisciplinary projects in resource-constrained environments where the buck stopped with you.\nSkills & Experience Required:\nPrevious Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation experience with Kuali, Workday, Banner, PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Oracle, etc.\nA minimum of five years of relevant experience in consulting, finance, and/or higher education.\nA bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\nThe ability to establish credibility with stakeholders at various levels on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism.\nA desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies.\nExcellent interpersonal skills; highly invested in developing strong relationships both with customers and colleagues.\nExperience in supporting multiple projects concurrently.\nProactive and sensitive to customer needs. \nStrong communication skills, both spoken and written.\nComfortable presenting information to various levels of stakeholders. \nFlexibility and the willingness to adapt to meet the needs of the team and customer.\nA lifelong learner who is constantly working to improve their professional knowledge and always looking to improve processes.\nWe’d be delighted if you bring:\nExperience implementing Kuali solutions\nExperience in higher education\nPrior consulting experience in a national or regional consulting firm or prior employment with an ERP/SIS software vendor\nOther things you should know:\nYou’ll have the opportunity to travel.
