As a Senior Software Engineer, you will contribute to a product that helps shipowners and fleet operators manage data effectively, improve operational safety, and achieve their decarbonisation and CO₂-emission reduction goals.
This is a role for someone who wants to have a genuine impact on the product’s direction - from making architectural decisions and shaping business logic to building scalable features used by clients across the maritime sector.
You will work in an international environment alongside technology and domain experts with extensive experience, contributing to a platform that brings together data, applications, and digital services to support more efficient and sustainable maritime operations.
Responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in .NET 8.0 and C# for building scalable microservices and extending custom frameworks
- Frontend development with React.js and/or StencilJS (Web Components)
- Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, MassTransit)
- Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL Server)
- Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Charts)
- RESTful APIs with ASP.NET Core (OpenAPI Standard)
- Observability and monitoring (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Strong communication skills for technical documentation and customer interaction
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD workflows (AzureDevOps, GitHub)
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Microsoft Copilot)
Requirements
- Extend and develop custom C# framework for workflow migration
