In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that cloud-based products meet high standards of functionality, usability, security, and reliability.\nAs a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the quality strategy for one or more product areas and work closely with Software Engineering and Product teams to build reliable, scalable automated testing solutions. You will have a strong influence on the automation strategy, test frameworks, quality standards, and release readiness.\nThis is a hands-on role combining test automation, API testing, CI/CD, AWS and modern Agile practices. You will also have the opportunity to mentor other engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA practices across the organization.\nKey responsibilities\nOwn and evolve the test strategy for your product area, defining appropriate test coverage and automation priorities\n\nDesign, develop and maintain automated tests at different levels of the testing pyramid using Java\n\nDesign and extend test automation frameworks, focusing on reliability, execution speed and maintainability\n\nEstablish and maintain quality standards, review test code and reduce flaky tests and technical debt\n\nAnalyze automated test results, identify product defects versus framework issues and drive issues to resolution\n\nDevelop and maintain API test automation using RestAssured, JUnit and Spring Boot\n\nWork with engineering and product teams to define testable requirements, acceptance criteria and test specifications\n\nDesign test solutions for AWS-based services, including Lambda and S3\n\nIntegrate automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines\n\nSupport exploratory and manual testing when appropriate\n\nMentor and support other QA and engineering team members\n\nProvide clear reporting on quality, test coverage and release readiness\n\nPromote quality assurance practices and contribute to the wider QA community\n\nIdeal candidate profile\n5+ years of experience in software quality engineering, including 3+ years of hands-on experience with test automation using Java\n\nStrong experience with API test automation, particularly RestAssured, JUnit and Spring Boot\n\nExperience designing or significantly extending test automation frameworks\n\nStrong understanding of web applications and modern software development practices\n\nGood knowledge of Git and GitHub\n\nStrong clean-code practices and experience reviewing code\n\nWorking knowledge of Docker\n\nHands-on experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, including automated quality gates\n\nExperience with AWS and cloud-based environments\n\nExperience working in cross-functional Agile engineering teams\n\nExperience mentoring or technically supporting other engineers\n\nGood understanding that software quality is a shared responsibility across the engineering team\n\nStrong written and spoken English\nNice to have\n\nExperience with Generative AI in QA, including AI-assisted test design, test data generation, failure analysis or test maintenance\n\nExperience testing LLM-powered features, including non-deterministic outputs, regression evaluation, hallucination and safety checks\n\nExperience with GraphQL and/or Snowflake\n\nExperience in performance, security or accessibility testing\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field\n\nConditions\nSalary: 15000–18000 PLN gross + PKUP\n\nFull-time employment\n\n100% remote work\n\nLocation: Poland\n\nFlexible working hours\n\nWork with a global Cloud / SaaS platform\n\nEnglish required for daily communication\n\nWhat we offer\nDirect impact on a global SaaS product\n\nFlat organizational structure and collaboration with international engineering teams\n\nWork with modern technologies including AWS, Cloud, microservices, CI/CD and AI/LLM-powered features\n\nFlexible working hours and remote work\n\nChoice of MacBook Pro or Windows PC\n\nPrivate medical insurance including dental care\n\nLife insurance\n\nMeal allowance\n\nMultisport card\n\nPKUP / tax-deductible costs\n\nRecruitment steps\nInitial interview with a KUBO recruiter\n\nTechnical interview with a technical team member\n\nFinal interview with a technical team member and Manager\n\nW KUBO naprawdę zależy nam na ludziach.
