The successful candidate will spend approximately 75% of their time coding, while also guiding the development team, making architectural decisions, and ensuring high standards of software quality.\nThe role offers an opportunity to contribute to the design and development of microservices-based applications, drive technical improvements, and collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional technology teams.\nKey responsibilities\nAct as a Technical Lead within a Scrum team, providing technical guidance and supporting the team in day-to-day development.\n\nActively develop and implement business requirements using Java.\n\nDesign, develop, and evolve system architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.\n\nCollaborate with the Product Owner and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into technical solutions.\n\nDefine and maintain coding standards, architectural principles, and integration guidelines.\n\nConduct code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and performance.\n\nMentor developers and support the continuous development of the team's technical skills.\n\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues and help the team identify effective solutions.\n\nDesign and oversee system integrations and API architecture.\n\nEnsure that solutions meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements.\n\nCollaborate with other Scrum teams, architects, DevOps engineers, and integration specialists.\n\nContribute to technology selection, architectural decisions, and technical risk assessments.\n\nApply cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure, where appropriate.\n\nExplore and leverage Agentic AI and other AI-powered tools in the software development lifecycle to improve productivity, automate tasks, and support technical decision-making.\n\nIdeal candidate profile\nStrong hands-on Java development experience\n\nAt least 5 years of experience designing and building web-based systems.\n\nProven experience designing microservices architectures and distributed systems.\n\nStrong knowledge of architectural and integration patterns.\n\nExtensive experience with API design and system integration.\n\nPractical knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD).\n\nExperience with relational databases, SQL, and query optimization.\n\nPractical knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture.\n\nExperience implementing end-to-end observability.\n\nExperience conducting code reviews, mentoring developers, and providing technical leadership.\n\nEnglish proficiency at B2 level, Polish language -
