The Inventory Supervisor handles all paperwork and procedures necessary to meet this goal. You will also verify all orders received and shipped, ensuring that the orders are accounted for in our records. The Inventory Supervisor accounts for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. You will ensure cycle counts are planned and implemented following customer and Kuehne+Nagel requirements. This is a 1st shift role.\nHow you create impact\nYou will create efficient and accurate inventory management procedures\nPerform all daily activities necessary to maintain inventory management\nEnsure Daily Cycle Counts are completed as expected and conclude any investigation as result from any discovered discrepancy\nEnsure all inventory adjustments are documented for future reference \nProvide training to Inventory Team members as needed \nProvide training to other Operations departments as needed to ensure quality of work and inventory accuracy\nReconcile inventory and coordinate annual physical inventory procedures\nWork with management on implementing loss prevention programs \nBuild a recovery program\nYou will oversee the inventory quality and accuracy including weekly and monthly reports\nProvide support to Operations as needed in other areas \nServe as key point of contact for operations team when handling inventory discrepancies or investigating inventory levels \nWork with on-site customer representatives to provide a smooth operation and strengthen customer relations.\nWhat we would like you to bring\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred\nAt least 3 years of experience in inventory management, inventory control, cycle counting, or warehouse operations\n2+ years of leadership, supervisory, or employee training experience\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and inventory reporting tools\n2+ years of Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience\nExperience analyzing inventory discrepancies, conducting root cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions\nStrong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and develop team members\nMust be able to read and comprehend written English to perform essential job functions and adhere to safety requirements\nWhat's in it for you\nThere has never been a better time to work in logistics.
