The company is focused on building scalable and sustainable processes for next-generation protein alternatives.\nThis is your opportunity to have an impact on our planet and experience a startup in its earliest days.\nRole and Responsibilities ****\nKult Farm is looking for a highly motivated intern to support the scaling of solid-state fermentation processes for new plant-based protein alternatives. The selected candidate will work closely with the R&D team to translate lab protocols into robust pilot-scale processes and contribute to product and process development.\nSupport experimental planning and execution for solid-state fermentation scaling trials.\nPrepare substrates, inocula and fermentation runs following SOPs and good laboratory practices.\nMonitor and record process parameters such as temperature, humidity and time.\nAssist with sample handling and basic downstream processing.\nContribute to data analysis, reporting and technical documentation.\nQualifications ****\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree, or currently enrolled, in a STEM field such as Biotechnology, Food Science, Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Microbiology or related discipline.\nEnglish is required.\nStrong interest in fermentation, alternative proteins and sustainable food systems.\nPreferred qualifications:\nExperience with fermentation is desirable.\nExperience with process scaling is also desirable.\nFamiliarity with data analysis tools such as Excel, Python or R is a plus.\nWhy join?\nYou will work in a cross-disciplinary Production
