This is not a pure backend role, and not classic consulting either. It's a high-ownership position where you work directly with enterprise stakeholders to build something real.\nWhat You’ll Do\nTurn ambiguous customer problems into scoped, buildable solutions - then ship them\n\nBuild with modern applied AI (LLMs, agentic workflows, vision models, embeddings, heuristics) to solve high-impact problems\n\nDesign data pipelines for document ingestion, extraction, validation, and orchestration on top of Kuro's platform abstractions\n\nIdentify recurring patterns across projects and codify them into reusable templates\n\nBalance speed, accuracy, and pragmatism - and know when to keep a human in the loop\n\nHelp shape the technical direction of both the product and the company\n\nAs one of our first forward deployed engineering hires, you'll have significant influence on how we build, what we build, and how fast we move.\nPast Projects You Would Have Been Part Of\nLLM extraction agent for interior estimation\nBuilt a PoC that extracts quantities from unstructured documents, saving ~4 days of work per project.\n\nSubcontractor KYC automation\nDeveloped an internal app to automate KYC checks, reducing manual effort by ~50%.\n\nLLM-based Bill of Quantities parsing\nCreated a parser that structures complex BoQs automatically, saving hours per day for procurement managers.\n\nConstruction ontologies with enterprise customers\nCo-developed interior and shell construction ontologies that power downstream AI automation.\n\nCurrent Tech Stack\nIt is still day 0 for Kuro.
